    As Chairman of Oceanic Asset Management, David brings a wealth of entrepreneurial, resources sector and engineering experience in both Australia and the UK, culminating in the successful floatation of his own construction company on the Australian Securities Exchange.

    He has cultivated that same focus, drive and expertise in all his roles to date, including major engineering and management projects, various consultancies and directorships including Mulato Nominees Pty. Ltd., a highly successful private investment company specialising in unearthing investment opportunities at the smaller end of the Australian quoted market, predominantly resources orientated

    DIRECTOR / FUND MANAGER

    Myles has a comprehensive background in all technical and financial facets of the resource sector. Specialising internationally in resource evaluation, debt capacity modelling, mergers and acquisitions, project assessment and equity/convertible capital raisings. This follows a ten year career as an exploration and mine site geologist in Australia covering base metals and gold. Myles was the Project Geologist at LionOre responsible for the exploration, discovery and BFS completion of the Emily Ann Nickel Sulphide Mine.

    Prior to joining the funds management team at Oceanic he was a Director at Carmichael Capital Markets, the corporate finance division of DJ Carmichael & Co. More significantly Myles was based in London for 5 years working with Barclays Capital in their natural resources team and as Senior Resource Analyst with WH Ireland.

    Myles holds a BSc. (Hons.) in Geology from University of Wales College Cardiff and a MSc. (MinEx) from the Royal School of Mines in London. He also has a Graduate Diploma of Business (Finance) and is an Associate of the Royal School of Mines.

    Myles will be managing and developing the suite of funds held by Oceanic and brings a strong combination of technical knowledge and financial capability in international markets to the team.

    Charles has a broad range of financial experience, including advisory roles in the ASX equity and options markets, as well as discretionary management of client accounts on the local and international commodity futures and options markets. Charles has more than four years experience in trading of ASX securities, with a particular focus on small to medium cap mining stocks with exposures to oil and gas, gold, nickel, uranium and iron ore. Charles’ qualifications include a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Western Australia, with a quadruple major in Investment Finance, Corporate Finance, Money and Banking, and International Economics, as well as a post-graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.

    Charles is a fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

    With a notable track record of over twenty years in the intermediary market, John, a former Royal Naval Warfare Officer, has an in-depth understanding of the needs of both investor and institution. He successfully merged his own wealth management company with BDO Stoy Hayward where he performed an innovative role as a Director of their Wealth Management arm and subsequently took on a managerial role with Morgan Stanley Quilter before establishing a freelance consultancy business offering services to emergent boutique asset managers.

    Such dynamic experience has enabled him to act as the architect and "face" of the Oceanic CF Australian Natural Resources OEIC in the UK.

    FUND ADMINISTRATOR

    Chris is a knowledgeable administrator whose work experience responsibilities at Oceanic include the processing of sale/purchase instructions, reconciling holdings, maintenance of pricing/asset databases and liaison with advisors, custodians and brokers.

    Chris also specialises in computer management and has high competency in a wide range of industry standard programs (Word, Excel, Adobe CS, IRESS).

    BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

    Evy has over 20 years experience in the financial arena, including positions in accountancy, financial planning, stockbroking and funds management companies. Prior to joining Oceanic, Evy played an instrumental role in the successful development of the Funds Management division at Peet Limited where she was primarily responsible for the due diligence, acquisition and asset management of a portfolio of properties held within the fund together with capital raising responsibilities. Her earlier experience included business development and senior assistant roles with prominent stockbroking firms. Evy also currently sits on the Committee as a Member for the Redkite Childrens Foundation - Corporate Quiz, a charity that helps raise money to support young children through cancer.

    At Oceanic, Evy co-ordinates marketing and sales activities, identifying and maintaining relationships with brokers, financial institutions and research analysts and the formulation and implementation of business development strategy.

    ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR

    Anne has extensive experience in office management and accounts. Prior to joining Oceanic, she worked in diverse areas including accounting, IT, hospitality, architectural, medical, advertising and small business including 10 years in the film and television production arena in Melbourne.

    At Oceanic, Anne is responsible for all accounting functions and reports to the Executive Chairman.
